Our Journey
ABR Fabrications started in September 1997 with just three passionate employees working out of a modest 1,500 sqm unit. From day one, our mission was clear: to deliver high-quality stainless steel fabrications to the oil and food industries.
By 2005, our dedication had paid off. Securing contracts with respected names like Proseal UK, Hydratron, and Mill Room Mixing gave us the momentum to expand into a 5,000 sqm facility and grow our team to eight.
Our growth didn’t stop there. Just two years later, we doubled our workspace by taking over the adjoining unit, an expansion that attracted some of the most talented stainless steel fabricators from across the Northwest.
In 2013, we took another leap forward, moving into a 14,000 sqm facility, adding a second 6kW laser and another Trumpf press brake. Through careful planning, we ensured that this major transition didn’t disrupt our customers’ orders. Since then, we’ve continued to grow, expanding into an adjoining unit, adding another press brake, and flatbed polisher, solidifying our position as a leader in stainless steel fabrication.
Innovation has always been at the heart of ABR Fabrications. In 2007, we brought our first Trumpf Laser Profiling Machine in-house, giving us faster turnaround times and greater reliability for our customers. Between 2007 and 2010, our reputation as the “fabricator’s fabricator” spread across the region, helping countless companies with specialist stainless steel parts. To keep pace with demand, we invested in one of the UK’s first Trumpf 3kW fiber lasers, a 3-metre 120-tonne CNC press brake, and a flatbed polishing machine in 2010.
Today, 25 years on, ABR Fabrications is home to over 30 highly skilled professionals, united by a commitment to quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. From humble beginnings, we’ve built a business that combines competitive pricing, fast lead times, and unmatched expertise, a true partner to every customer we serve.
